Skal Biological quality mark

The Skal audit has led to a quality mark for the production of organic products. Skal Biocontrole is the only organic inspection body in the Netherlands, assigned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and focuses on the demonstrable reliability of organic products in the Netherlands.

'Organic' is a legally protected term. A product may only be called organic if its production process complies with legal regulations. The European government makes the rules, and the more than 3,600 certified organic farmers comply with it, and Skal monitors this compliance. Skal supervises the entire organic supply chain. Thus, consumers can safely rely on organic products being truly organic.
