Valentine tomato soup
- Pour the soup starter into a pan and add 2 jars of water. Add the finely chopped onion and bring to the boil.
- Press out heart shapes from the bread using a heart-shaped cutter. Sprinkle garlic oil over the hearts and bake until golden in a pre-heated oven (180 ºC) for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the pre-packed stir-fry vegetables and the tomatoes to the soup and simmer for a while; season to taste with salt and pepper, if required.
- Ladle the soup into bowls. Distribute the heart-shapes/croutons and the basil over the soup.
Serving suggestion: add some fresh mini meatballs right at the start.
