Valentine tomato soup


  1. Pour the soup starter into a pan and add 2 jars of water. Add the finely chopped onion and bring to the boil.
  2. Press out heart shapes from the bread using a heart-shaped cutter. Sprinkle garlic oil over the hearts and bake until golden in a pre-heated oven (180 ÂșC) for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add the pre-packed stir-fry vegetables and the tomatoes to the soup and simmer for a while; season to taste with salt and pepper, if required.
  4. Ladle the soup into bowls. Distribute the heart-shapes/croutons and the basil over the soup.

Serving suggestion: add some fresh mini meatballs right at the start.


  • 1 jar of tomato soup starter 485 ml
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 1 bag of finely chopped pre-packed stir-fry vegetables 400 gram
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 slices of bread, white or brown
  • garlic oil
  • 6 basil leaves, cut into strips
  • Salt and pepper
